The truth will set you free. That has always been what each of us believed, and what should be the norm that we all expected of everything and of everyone. We all want the truth, about anything that we might be interested or dealing with at the moment, and nothing more. Knowing it would surely suffice, and our curiosity and appetite for trying and wanting to know everything would be satisfied. This desire to know the truth seems a natural instinct of man. Being the naturally curious and inquisitive creatures that we are, we just cannot help but try and seek the truth even though it may sometimes be painful and uncomfortable. It is an ongoing process, this quest for what is real and what is true, but it has to be done.
As much as we all want the truth, it could be very unsettling and uncomfortable at times. The thing that we have to do is to make sure that we are always ready for it, whatever it might be or wherever it might lead to. The high and sometimes even intense level of curiosity that are we wont to display most of the time necessitates that we be prepared for anything. That would only even things out, even when we are confronted with the most shocking truths, when our entire belief systems and values are directly challenged or placed into question. If we find that our entire way of life and everything that we ever believe in has somehow been twisted or changed for the benefit or enjoyment of certain groups and individuals, perhaps then we become more eager to learn the truth.
Is it really possible that there are certain truths that are hidden from us? Or worse, had there been truths that have been purposefully withheld from coming out in public then and now? Confronting these questions is difficult, and may lead some to state that only the truly cynical could ever assert such things. But granted that there is a certain dose of cynicism involved, there could also be no denying that there have been speculations about certain truths being covered up or hidden from us, the public. Over the years, stories and theories have circulated about many different kinds of topics and possible subjects for the concealment of the truth. Some have been dismissed as nothing more than absolute lies and ridiculous stories aimed at creating sensation and even unnecessary panic.
One example where the distortion of facts and concealment of the truth is probably most pronounced is the questions of aliens and Unidentified Flying Saucers (UFO’s). Now I must admit to being quite incredulous about it myself, and the only time that I probably had any amount of belief in it was when I was a kid. And who could blame me for losing my belief about such things, especially when I began to be aware and concerned about more pressing things about my personal life? And yet there it was an idea or concept that was always catching my attention, until it led me to wonder if it was actually true and that some forces are just bent on keeping the truth about it from us. A really scary or creepy thought if you ask me, but then again the very idea of aliens and UFO’s should be the occasion for fear and discomfort especially since we do not understand it at all. What little we know is even distorted and twisted by how it is presented to us, and by the media, Hollywood, and other sources.
Of Aliens and UFO’S : Abduction of the Truth
The subject of aliens and UFO’s is, without a doubt, a very controversial one. It could also be described as pretty polarizing, with a few taking it very seriously, to many more ridiculing the very idea and those who even dare to offer up some belief in it. And there are those who are just indifferent to the whole thing, people who do not care whether the truth is ever known about the subject, or if anyone else would even bother to try and find out. But for those who do believe, the truth truly matters, especially when you think about the effort of the government to actually conceal what it knows about aliens.
The government has endured criticism over the last few decades about its supposed cover-up of its knowledge about alien life that has repeatedly made visits to our planet. And not only that, there has also been speculation that the government has actually made contact with the aliens in the past and possibly up until today, for reasons that only be guessed. Yes, conspiracy theories abound about it, and it does not help that the government has been pretty mysterious and quite unclear about whether these things are true or not. You could say that it has even helped fuel the speculation and wild guessing that has been evident from the very start.
One of the more controversial issues has to do with the supposed abduction by aliens. The very thought that anyone would be abducted by alien life forms, for purposes that are probably too horrendous to even think about, is already an appalling thought in itself. Imagine the probable things that could happen if you are abducted, the possible experiments that the aliens could do to you, operations on certain parts of your body, messing with your organs and even your memory and entire thought process. But you just have to wonder, is the government really keeping anything away from the public?
What has really happened is that ever since the early 1950’s; a certain clamp down on the spread of information regarding alien contact has been widespread. That was when the so-called “Men in Black” who were supposedly the ones who were trying to suppress the stories of alien contact, sightings, and most especially the abductions, began to appear. It has been generally supposed that those men were government agents that were sent to silence the ones who actually have something to say. This was a fact that was supported decades later by the revelation that there are about 156 UFO related top secret documents that were in the possession by the National Security Agency (NSA). Those documents were never released to the public, even though groups were clamoring for it to be made public. And all the time that has passed since the beginning of the stories about aliens and UFO’s began, it is believed that top secret groups from the military and intelligence agencies have proceeded to not only conduct investigation but more extreme measures. These measures include harassment and intimidation, and even to such an extremity as actually abducting those who were suspected of having experienced being abducted by aliens.
All of this certainly paints a confusing picture for the interested public. There are still probably greater segments of the population who are not really interested in the subject and choose to just mind other fields of interest. However, the bigger picture here is that the government has lied about the subject of aliens, and not only about abductions, right from the start. And not only that, they have also continued to lie about their knowledge of extraterrestrial life, and its possible role in some of the technological developments that we have experienced in recent decades.
